All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our Conference are requested to agree with the following Conference Code of Conduct throughout the event. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe environment for everybody.
Our Conference is dedicated to providing a harassment-free conference experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion (or lack thereof).
We do not tolerate harassment of conference participants in any form.
Sexual language and imagery is not appropriate for any conference venue, including talks, workshops, parties, Twitter, LinkedIn , Facebook and other online media.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance , body size, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and in-welcome sexual attention.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately. They will be happy to assist those experiencing harassment and help to make them feel safe for the duration of the Conference. They will invite both the person who performed harassing behavior as the person being harassed to create mutual understanding and respect. We value your attendance.
Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately. Conference participants violating these rules will be warned by the conference staff and can be asked to leave the Conference. If repeated violation of this Code of Conduct occurs, the participant will be expelled from the Conference without a refund at the discretion of the conference organisers. We kindly ask you to follow these rules at this Conference, workshop venues and conference-related social activities and help to create an open, warm learning environment where there is mutual respect for everyone and knowledge can be shared without any barriers.
