IPv6 in critical infrastructures: risks and vulnerabilities by Marc Heuse
IPv6 is more and more deployed at ISPs and company infrastructures to enable everyone to have Internet connectivity without multiple NAT layers. In some areas IPv6 is even mandatory and no IPv4 present (e.g. car charging, automotive, avionics, etc.).
However IPv6 is highly complex with many risks and issues not been mitigated.
This presentation will show the issues of IPv6 protocol complexity and how this can be abused by attacks.
